I was so happy to see my twitter about the Noy-Mar tandem being retwitted (RT) by a certain "thinkistank". Felt that my opinion really counted, and happier even that it was shared to a greater audience. Hope it also reached Noy and Mar, or even their closest supporters, to let them know that indeed they're not alone in the "good vs. evil" fight... and the torch that they are carrying indeed brings GREAT HOPE among us, the common Filipinos. Life can sometimes be lonely and sad
Especially when nostalgia visits you
Memories of people, places, things
Those you cherish and wish to go back to
They bring great pain and immense sorrow
but quickly vanish from thought in the distance of the past.

The love you gave intoxicates me
The joys that we shared seemed endless
So tell me, how can I leave thee?
...
So the time has come to hold you tightly
To bring you closer to my heart
To feel your firm embrace around me
As if you don’t want us to be apart.

Sounds very sad. I think I should write happy poems now, or perhaps one that reflects the piling up of my workload reminding me to stop blogging already and attend to these NOW NA! Hmmm... not a bad idea.
